LifelineHelp For Low-Income Residential Customers
Laurel Highland Telephone Company offers two programs to help make telephone service more affordable for low-income individuals. They are Lifeline 135 Service and Link Up America. If you are a low-income residential customer, you may qualify for these programs.
Lifeline 135 gives a monthly credit off your basic service charges for the main telephone line at your primary residence.
Link Up America offers a 50% reduction (up to a maximum of $30) from the connection charge for basic service to the main telephone line at your primary residence. Any additional charges incurred are assessed at the full rate. How to Qualify for Lifeline 135 Service and Link-up America:
Lifeline 135 Service: You can get Lifeline 135 if: No one claims you as a dependent on their Federal Income Tax Return, unless you are 60 or older and you are in one of these programs:
