LHTC's 4th Annual Customer Appreciation Day
The 4th Annual Customer Appreciation Day was held on Saturday, August 27th from 12 noon to 4 PM at the Donegal Community Center. A total of 577 customers attended the event. The first 500 received a FREE LHTC tote and travel mug. There were many activities for customers to do and see at the event. Customers were introduced to our brand new service, TiVo Premiere. TiVo Premiere allows customers to connect to the Internet and download movies from Blockbuster and Amazon.com as well as record shows, listen to music on Pandora Internet Radio and Rhapsody Music Service, watch videos on YouTube, create photo slideshows and even add multi-room viewing. Two winners were chosen to receive a TiVo Door Prize and 3 FREE months of TiVo Premiere service.
Kids enjoyed the interactive game area, where they got to play the XBOX 360 Kinect Adventures game, which utilizes the Kinect motion camera. Kinect Adventures uses full body motion to allow the player to engage in a variety of minigames, all of which feature jump-in, jump-out multiplayer play. The game also supports Xbox Live multiplayer. The kids also enjoyed creating sand art bottles, playing the lollipop and duck pond game.
Everyone seemed to enjoy playing the Hole-in-One game, to win a neXus flashlight prize, as well as the Prize wheel, to win an LHTC T-Shirt. The hot dogs by The Dog Side of the Moon were delicious and the cotton candy was a sweet treat! It was a wonderful way to spend the day with family and friends, not to mention the ten winners that walked away with the 40" and 32" HDTV's, Playstation 3, Lenovo laptop, PSP, Sony Digital Camera, Fisher Price Smart Cycle, Nook eBook, Apple iPod Touch and Sony portable DVD player door prizes.
The entertainment provided by Katelyn Ritenour, Ben Haines, Tracy Ritenour, Randy Ritenour and Jeff Sefchek was outstanding. Katelyn sang her original songs as well as some covers by Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert and more. Tracy's bluegrass renditions of Alison Krauss were harmonious and Ben, Randy and Jeff provided the male vocals and guitar solos that tied it all together.
Overall, it was another successful year and we want to thank everyone that came out and hope to see even more of you next year!
